The Nepal College of Travel and Tourism Management (NCTTM) was founded in 1995 and is Nepal’s top tourism educational school. NCTTM is connected with Nepal’s state institution, Tribhuvan University (TU). NCTTM has been offering a bachelor’s degree program in travel and tourism via Tribhuvan University’s Faculty of Management since its inception.

Its main goal has been to create both qualitative and quantitative human resource people for the tourist industry at the executive and management levels. It has made a significant contribution to the development of a worldwide profession for Nepalese youth and students from surrounding countries in the rapidly growing global travel and tourism industry.

Nepal College of Travel and Tourism Management(NCTTM) offers a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management

The Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is a four-year full-time semester system degree intended to provide competent human resources for Nepal’s rapidly expanding hotel industry. Students will be able to: occupy supervisory positions in the hotel and catering industries with an adequate background in management functions; acquire basic technical and social skills required for the professional handling of hotel and catering operations; apply cost control measures for greater economy and success in business operations; set quality standards

The course’s goal is to help students acquire the fundamental abilities they’ll need to work in the hospitality sector in the near future. Food and beverage preparation, food and beverage service, front office operations, and cleaning operations are all examples of these abilities.

Aside from that, the training focuses on the students’ personal development. In the business, an applicant with a nice personality is usually favored.

The course also seeks to offer fundamental information in cleanliness, food safety, and nutrition in accordance with worldwide standards for students interested in the area of food and beverage.

Prerequisites for pursuing a BHM at NCTTM

For students planning to study at Nepal College of Travel & Tourism Management(NCTTM)

Must have finished the 10+2 with at least a 2nd division in any stream or equivalent* from a Tribhuvan University-accredited university, board, or institution (TU).
English as a complete paper at the 10+2 or comparable level for students.
