Liberty College was founded in the year 2009 A.D. The institution exclusively offers management-related education to its students. They have only been running the BBA program. Pokhara University is in charge of the courses. Liberty College’s goal is to help students advance in their careers by offering excellent education. It’s in Kathmandu’s Anamnagar neighborhood. It spanned about 30 ropanies in size.
In Liberty College , there are 11 boards of directors involved. The college’s Chairman is Sharada Prasad Dhital, while the college’s Principal is Rishi Ram Chapagain. The college’s board members include Shisheer Kumar Bhatta, Prabin Raj Gautam, Maha Pd. Shrestha, Murali Pd. Sharma, Dr. Narayan Pd. Kafle, Rabindra Joshi, Rabin Subedi, Sanjay Ghimire, and Yadab Pd. Dhungana. Liberty College offers a strong academic education that prepares students for careers in management, banking, business, and as independent entrepreneurs when they graduate.
Only a bachelor’s degree in business administration is offered at Liberty College. The Business Administration program lasts four years. There are eight semesters in all. Pokhara University is in charge of this curriculum.
Bachelor of Hotel Management at Liberty College
The Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) at Liberty College offers students with strong conceptual understanding, abilities, and attitude needed for the different sectors of business and hospitality management. The BHM program focuses at strengthening students’ intellectual capacity, executive personality and managerial abilities via an appropriate mixing of business and general education with courses relevant to hotel management. The curriculum is aimed at developing leadership skills needed for managing company operations particularly of hospitality sector. The program also seeks to create entrepreneurs who can start small scale hotel and restaurant company.
Bachelor of Hotel Management is a four year curriculum consisting of eight semesters of six months each. The first four semesters are full with theoretical as well as practice. Students will have to undertake internship in seventh and eighth semesters. BHM in total is of 138 credit hours study.
GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION
Candidates who have finished NEB 10+2 (Grade XII) or an equivalent degree with a minimum pass division in percentage or a minimum ‘C’ grade in each subject are eligible to apply for both the BHM program and the NEB 10+2 (Grade XII) program at Liberty College.
The application form, transcripts, and certificates of +2 and SLC/SEE or equivalent are required for admission to the BHM programs. Candidates must pass the Liberty College Admission Test (LCAT) and a personal interview to be considered for admission.
