The Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) curriculum of Tribhuvan University has been developed to equip the students to join the hospitality sector at the supervisory level in field of hotel and catering operations. BHM program of Tribhuvan University is a four year, 8 semester program which is provided at more than 10 Hotel Management institutions of Nepal . Every year the overall capacity of enrolment for BHM program of Tribhuvan University is more than 600.Up on graduation the student of Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) will be eligible to:
- Occupy managerial roles in the hotel and catering sector with sufficient background of management duties.
- Acquire fundamental technical and social skills for competent management of hotel and catering operations.
- Apply cost management methods for better economy and success of company operations.
- Set criteria for quality assurance of the services provided to consumers.
- Develop favorable attitudes towards the trade with more initiative and self confidence in managing the activities.
- Become a successful entrepreneur in a small/medium size company.
Objective OF BACHELOR OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT
The BHM program acknowledges the knowledge and abilities needed for different professions in the hotel and catering sector. The curriculum course structure is divided into four major components; the obligatory courses, the core courses, industry exposure and project work, and the optional courses.
- BHM enables students assume the job of supervisor in the hotels and food sector with appropriate expertise.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS IN BACHELOR IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Candidates seeking admission to BHM programme should apply in the specified form for entrance exam within the given period. The applicants should include with the application form, attested copies of
- Certificate and testimonies of all exams passed.
- Equivalency, Transfer and Character Certificates
- Two current passports size photos.
- Must have obtained 40 percent marks in CMAT exam conducted by T.U.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The applicants seeking for admission to the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) course must have completed 10+2 or equivalent exams from recognized academic institution with second division (securing 45 percent and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enroll in this program. Must have studied English as a required subject.
