ISMT was founded in 2011 with a goal to provide globally recognized credentials. ISMT provides a variety of credentials in conjunction with the University of Sunderland, Pearson BTEC, and ACCA, UK. ISMT exists to create an influence on the education system in Nepal, with a goal to provide industry-relevant education and make higher education accessible and useful to all individuals with the desire and capacity to achieve. ISMT is dedicated to the implementation of accessible, cost-effective, and globally recognized academic courses in the context of key local needs and values. Our aim is to reach more students with high-quality, life-changing learning that fulfills their needs and improves society. BSc. (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management (BHM)
The BHM at ISMT is delivered through BTEC HND and from the University of Sunderland, UK. This course involves students in not just theoretical but practical lessons related to customer service, event planner and manager, food and beverage production, etc. The contents are tailored specifically to contemporary needs of the hospitality and tourism related businesses. The students are provided with ample opportunities to enhance their understanding about the hospitality industry and develop hands –on skills so that on completing the course the graduates are able to find jobs in the relevant hospitality related businesses.
Importantly, students who have completed two years from ISMT can have their credits transferred to many universities in Australia, UK, USA and many more and complete their final year or they can complete it from ISMT.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND FACILITIES:
- The classrooms are air-conditioned and outfitted with comfortable furniture, digital projectors and interactive smart boards.
- The college has a sport ground and parking space.
- The institution consists of fully equipped IT Labs, Students Lounge, a cafeteria with capacity of seating around hundred students at a time and a professionally maintained library and resource center.
- The institution tries to provide as much assistance as possible to our students such as we provide extra tutorial support, revision sessions and repeated courses on request.
WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FPR ADMISSION AT ISMT?
- students with minimum of 2.0 GPA(for science students)
- completion of higher secondary +2 or equivalent
- english as a major subject
SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
- Awarded for a grade of 75 percent or higher in +2 or equivalent and qualified on interview,15 percent waiver on tuition cost in the first year for all +2 or equivalent graduates enrolling for a programme at ISMT
- Awarded for a score of 65 percent or higher in +2 or equivalent and qualified on interview,10 percent waiver on tuition cost in the first year for all +2 or equivalent graduates enrolling for a programme at ISMT
