Liberty College was founded in the year 2009 A.D. The institution exclusively offers management-related education to its students. They have only been running the BBA program. GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION

Candidates who have finished NEB 10+2 (Grade XII) or an equivalent degree with a minimum pass division in percentage or a minimum ‘C’ grade in each subject are eligible to apply for both the BHM program and the NEB 10+2 (Grade XII) program at Liberty College.

The application form, transcripts, and certificates of +2 and SLC/SEE or equivalent are required for admission to the BHM programs. Candidates must pass the Liberty College Admission Test (LCAT) and a personal interview to be considered for admission.

Since its inception, the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) has played a critical role in developing human resources and raising the standard of quality in tourism and hospitality services by providing craft and supervisory level skill oriented trainings to meet industry demands. In collaboration with Tribhuvan University, NATHM established the Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) program in 1999 and the Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) program in 2003. As the business has expanded significantly over the last several decades, so has the need for properly educated higher level personnel. To meet the industry’s current need, NATHM began offering a two-year Master of Hospitality Management (MHM) program in 2011, which is connected with Tribhuvan University (TU) and seeks to develop senior level human resources.

The Academy is dedicated to introducing students to the world of hospitality via the following activities:

OBJECTIVES OF THE BACHELOR OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT (BHM) at Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management

The BHM degree is intended to prepare students for managerial positions in the hospitality sector, such as hotel and catering operations. Students will be able to do the following after graduation:

With appropriate managerial abilities and expertise, occupy supervisory roles in the hotel and catering industries.
Learn the fundamental technical and social skills needed to handle hotel and catering operations professionally.
Implement cost-cutting initiatives to improve the efficiency and profitability of company operations;
Set quality criteria for the services provided to consumers;
Become a successful entrepreneur by starting a small or larger business.
The BHM curriculum is comprised of 126 credit hours and is carried out across eight semesters (four years).

Criteria for BHM Eligibility at Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management :

Applicants must have received a least ‘D+’ grade in each subject in grades 11 and 12, as well as a CGPA of 1.8 or second division in 10+2, PCL, or equivalent degree in any field. Applicants must have taken English as a compulsory subject in high school.

BHM Admission Procedure at Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management:

Students interested in attending BHM are evaluated via two rounds of admission exams. Interested applicants should first take the CMAT, which is administered by Tribhuvan University. To take this exam, candidates must complete an application form and attach the necessary documents:
SLC/SEE Transcript Marksheet and Character Certificate, Character Certificate and Migration Certificate of 10+2
Two passport-size photos taken recently

Applicants who get more than 40% in the CMAT are qualified to take the second stage of the admissions exam. Group Discussion and Personal Interview make up the second step of the admissions process.
A merit list is issued based on the cumulative marks earned by the students, which are computed on the basis of 30% from the score of 10+2, 50% from the CMAT, and 20% from the Group Discussion and Personal Interview; eligible applicants may gain admission to the BHM programs at NATHM.

Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management Student Internship Opportunities:

Students in the BHM program must complete a year-long internship between their 6th and 7th semesters to fulfill the course’s requirements. Internships are a valuable way for students to hone their practical skills and get a better understanding of how big hotels operate. NATHM students are now working at world-class hotels in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia, Germany, India, and Nepal.
